Prof. Lauren Restrepo is an Assistant Professor of Growth and Structure of Cities at Bryn Mawr College, with research areas around Chinese city planning; Chinese bureaucratic politics; Uyghur ethnopolitics; post-conflict development; critical development studies; urban theory. She is also working toward a Xinjiang Data Project. Prof. Restrepo has numerous publications and peer-reviewed presentations at meetings and conferences.
Prof. Restrepo is also currently Chair of the Committee on Libraries, Information, and Computing Member of the Advisory Council, and Reviewer SSRC International Dissertation Research Fellowship.
